Jeff is a founding member of Clearwind Estate Planning & Probate Attorneys. His practice centers on basic and complex estate planning, probate and estate administration, asset protection, disability and special needs planning, and business law.
Jeff began his legal career at the University of Wyoming College of Law, serving as a graduate assistant teaching legal writing, research, and appellate advocacy. While at UW he also provided representation to low-income clients through the school's Legal Services Clinic. After law school, Jeff attended the University of Denver's Graduate Tax Program, earning his Master of Laws Degree (LL.M.) in Taxation. He then worked for a Denver, Colorado based law firm specializing in business law. After moving to Wyoming, Jeff worked for a prominent regional law firm representing clients in the areas of business planning, tax, estate planning, and trust and estate administration.
Jeff is a member of the Boulder County Estate Planning Council, the Boulder County Bar Association, the Colorado State Bar, and the Wyoming State Bar. He is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Colorado and Wyoming as well as the United States Tax Court. Outside of his legal practice, he volunteers with Ronald McDonald House Charities and serves on the Board of Longmont Meals on Wheels.
